You, as a house wife and the spouse of Kim Taehyung. He’s an workaholic and would always spend most of his time at the office and during the weekends, when he’s at home, he would spend his time at his room alone doing his works only. I’m not saying that you don’t want Taehyung to stop working always, you just wanted to spend time with him even just for 5 minutes, that’s already fine.

Your husband is on his way to go home now as he texted you. You smiled at his message but you know when he comes home, he’ll just skip dinner and work on his projects right away with no rest. Aside from all of that, you always thought and asked yourself, 

“Does he still love me?”

That question keeps running over your head the whole week. Lately, Taehyung has become distant and cold since he got his promotion a month ago. You wondered why, it might be work of course, but what if the reason is different? Then you heard the door opening revealing your husband, Taehyung who is probably exhausted and tired from all of those works and meetings today.

“Hey, how are you?” Taehyung asked me, he rarely asks me how am I feeling or how was I. 

“Oh. I’m fine” I answered him. And I decided to finally ask him the question I’ve been questioning to myself.

“Taehyung? Can I ask you a question?” You asked him before he straight up go to our bedroom to get changed and go to his room to do his continuous work. But gladly, he stopped his walks and just listened to me.

“Yes Y/N?”

“Um.. Taehyung lately I’ve noticed that your being distant and cold to me now, I don’t know but I- Do you still care for our marriage? Are you still in love with me? Do you still love me?” I asked him honestly what I felt over the past month by his behavior.

Taehyung stood and was quite surprised by question-

“Do you still love me?” That question never left Taehyung’s mind that made him stood still.

A moment of silence and you just said to him,

“Never mind. I guess not, you can continue your work then.”

Taehyung suddenly grabbed my wrist that made me turned around and said to me,

“Y/N, I still love you. I really do. It’s just, the past month ever since I got the new promotion, there’s a lot of work and responsibilities I have to do and my new boss at work is highly strict at us and I didn’t want to disappoint him and the company so I overwork and doubled my working to finish my works at last but that doesn’t mean I forgot about us, you, and this marriage. I still care and think about you, I couldn’t spend time with you because of the amount of work I do and I’m really sorry that I made you feel that I don’t love you anymore. I’ll try to fix my schedule so I could at least spend some time with you here. I love you always and forever, Kim Y/N.” He all said in one go to me making me thought a lot.

“That’s why..? I thought you don’t-”

“I still love you and that will never change” He cut me off.

“I love you too Kim Taehyung!”

“I love you more, love. Now go dress up” He told you.

“Why?” You asked him.

“Because I’m going to have a date with you and spend time with my wife.”
