After a fairly hard day, Bandou and Akagi are chilling at the bar during some of HOMRA's downtime. Both are pretty tired after patrolling the city all morning, and dealing with whatever inconveniences that had come their way, so they're relaxing on one of the couches while they try to regain some energy.

It's roughly 4 in the afternoon and while Bandou is busy talking to a few of the others, Akagi ends up dozing off and falling asleep on Bandou's shoulder. The moment he feels Akagi falling asleep on him, Bandou goes completely still. He stops talking to the others and even glares at them when they start talking too loudly. He doesn't even hardly breathe because he's worried that any small movement or noise will wake up his sleeping boyfriend.

Several hours pass and the two of them remain in the exact same position. Bandou is still not moving and Akagi is still peacefully sleeping on his shoulder. Some of the other members of HOMRA are still staring in awe at the pair on the couch, wondering how the hell Bandou had managed to remain still after several hours had passed.

Finally, after what seems like forever, Akagi beings to slowly wake up. He brings a hand up to rub at his eyes, only to notice that he's fallen asleep on someone. As he shifts his gaze upward, he blinks in confusion when his eyes land on Bandou, who's looking slightly stiff from sitting still for so long. As Akagi sits himself up and stretches his arms out, he smirks softly toward his boyfriend before speaking.

"Babe- did you seriously sit there the entire time while I was sleeping?" He asks while lifting a brow.

"I-well..." Bandou fidgets slightly and rubs at the back of his neck before looking off to the side. "I didn't want to wake you up..."

"Seriously? So you sat here the entire time, stiff as a damn board and just let me sleep on you in front of everyone else? Aw babe- that's actually really sweet!" Akagi laughs gently and starts poking at Bandou's cheek, which has turned a dusty shade of pink.

"Oh would you shut it!? Keep that up and I won't ever do it again!" Bandou should have known Akagi would tease him a bit once he woke up. While keeping his eyes turned away, the raven starts to get up, only to find that his arm is being tightly held onto. When he turns back to look, he finds Akagi staring at him and lightly blushing as well.

"Thanks babe... You're so sweet..." Akagi smiles more as he leans forward and places a gentle kiss on Bandou's lips, causing him to blush even more.

"Yeah, yeah- Don't mention it..." Bandou mumbles softly once Akagi pulls away from him. "Let's just get home...it's getting late."

Lifting a brow, Akagi glances toward a nearby clock only to realize that it's nearly 10PM. He had slept for roughly 6 hours- and Bandou hadn't moved once?! Before the shaggy haired male could ask anymore questions, Bandou is already up and out the door. His body was definitely stuff from sitting down for so long, but it was worth it since he hadn't disturbed Akagi.

"Hey- wait up!" Akagi calls out as he gets up and hurries after Bandou. Surely there was more teasing to come later on, but for now Bandou was just determined to get himself back to their shared apartment, knowing that Akagi was trailing after him rather quickly.

'It was definitely worth sitting there for 6 hours...'
