Yes I’m also happy about batgirl being nearly close to the trinity. The whole series will be about dealing with trauma, especially from heroes. I rather focus on that than the romance since mental health isn’t in comics often and I like how this series can have a pretty realistic thing to it. Barbara has dealt with a lot of trauma from her getting shot and paralyzed to her brother constantly wanting to murder her. I think she will be a big part of it! I love your response to the anon!
cheers! I will take Babs getting solid content over romantic speculation any day, not to say i’m above speculating, but babs to me is a priority on how I view things. Some people will see Dick and Kory getting cosy and Babs not next to him, but I’ll see one of my favorite characters getting promoted alongside the Justice League. She hasn’t gotten a lot in the way of being featured in many events or arcs since forever so for her to be there up front, i’m hyped.
I mean sure I will go gaga over Dickbabs content if presented in any sort of manner but Babs, to me, needs to be featured in more quality content because some of that has been lacking for her lately.
Totally agree about the mental health. Sanctuary is getting featured and Babs definitely has faced some traumatic events. And there’s also the 3 Jokers event coming up, and one of them is the TKJ Joker so I wouldn’t be surprised if that gets brought up for her. i mean I’m not fan of TKJ Joker, so I hope she gets the opportunity to roast him in whatever way she can.
