New tools have appeared from artist Bina Shah ! Thanks Bina. These are fantastic natural nibs made of bamboo and crafted at the tip by Bina I’ve already found that they give me a huge variety of marks.I’m really interested in making my own asemic writing which is my way of describing sounds. So it’s a unique language of marks which I can collage onto my artwork or draw directly onto the surface. These marks are drawn in black ink. The subject matter was bird song. I’m thinking that I need to spend lots of time listening to and drawing my interpretation of their song before I’m satisfied with the quality of mark making.Sound has always been of interest for me especially in my photography.......but that’s another story to tell you some other time.#asemicwriting #artistsoninstagram #artwork #artoftheday #art #contemporaryart #bambooplant #bamboostick #inkdrawing #creativemarkmaking #interpretingsound #inventedlanguage #markmaking #mark #collageart #collageartwork #artforyourhome #artismypassion #inspiredbylandscape #thelanguageofsound (at Marsh Lane, Derbyshire) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNGIPTaHxtJ/?igshid=16giw7g5net4e
