I am incredibly hard headed, I know this, but I can’t help but get irritated when I see motivational posts basically telling you to sit back and just let life open it’s doors for you. “It’s just not your time, trust that the process is true and the universe will deliver you where you need to be when you need to be there”. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that sitting back and letting things happen simply allows life and opportunities pass you by. If shit isn’t happening for you, it’s up to YOU to find the change that needs to happen. Whether it’s quitting your shitty job to go all in on what you love(done it), going against the “advice” of your “friends” to trust in yourself and try to achieve your dreams(done it), or having to do something drastic in order to improve your way of life(still making drastic moves to make life better for myself and my family).
