"STAY SAFE"
by Balstroem
From the Northwest of Copenhagen Rasmus Balstroem credits "always having the drive to improve and excel" over his many years in street art with the popularity of his vibrant work. In Los Angeles as the COVID 19 outbreak increased its reach Balstroem was hooked up with this wall in Boyle Heights right before fleeing back to Denmak to begin a quarantine. At Union Pacific Ave and De La Torre Way, the was a natural selection by @StreetArtToday as one of their "7 Best Murals of the Month" for March. Stay safe everyone! @balstroem/

ANIMAL ALLEY
by Rasmus Balstroem, Tewsr, and Dcypher
In late 2015 Copenhagen artist Rasmus Balstroem was in Los Angeles to join CBS crew members Tewsr and Dcypher and participate in the Gabba Gallery curated Animal Alley project. Working for the most part on separate sections of the wall it’s remarkable how cohesively the styles of each held together as the three brought this dramatic adventure in the woods to an alley just south of Echo Park, behind the 100 block of Glendale Blvd. Balstroem’s three-eyed owl and ominous tree character (Ent?) anchors the center of the wall while Dcypher’s bear is “Gone Fishing” on the left and Tewsr’s clever animal mash-up of what appears to be Red Robin and Riding Hood riding a three-eyed wolf is on the right. Animal Alley is just one of many projects now curated by Gabba Gallery, beautifying the city from the alleys out. @balstroem @cbscrew @tewsr @dcypher_dtrcbs @gabbagallery
