I didn't get out to #Truro this weekend. The new semester has started, and there was lots of reading to do. I'm excited for the repeat classmates and there are some new ones with amazing vision. These photographs from #BallstonBeach that I've posted recently are related to an earlier project on erosion that I will compile after I complete my MFA. In the meantime, I will continue to shoot images for it intermittently while focusing primarily the project on The Columns and its environs. What I intended to do with this image is show the houses as if they're on top of each other, literally. That was a fun thin with 30 mph winds in 23 degree weather. I couldn't feel my legs after a while. The white snow on the smooth sand of the overwash complimented the sky's clouds but with the yellow sand rather than the blue sky. In between, were the warm tones of the dune and the branches of the shubs. This balance is jarred by the placement of the house and the red door and steel beams from the move.
