People who list “Serbian, Croatian, and Bosnian” as three separate languages under their “spoken languages” on profiles are so fucking extra I can’t handle it. Choose one they’re all basically the same. It’s like listing “Latin American and Iberian Spanish” or “American, British and Irish English”.

I remember my mom brought gibanica to an event at my elementary school and no one wanted to try it except for one girl who had Korean and Mexican parents and also brought something “unamerican” (I don’t remember exactly what it was but it was really good and also not getting eaten). She almost ate the whole damn gibanica by herself and asked my mom for the recipe and my mom was so happy lol. She was so cool :’).
