💎 Look closely at the game this month. A bottomless gallery of Crystals is abound for those that return every day for as many as 10,000 over the course of the month, but you will be greeted immediately with a collection of a thousand Crystals to celebrate the arrival of Season 7.

Do you desire even more Crystals? For every one hundred seconds of active running you do, you can collect a hundred Crystals too, all the way to a maximum of 500 seconds and 500 Crystals every day until they reset at 11:00 AM EST.

Only the luckiest of the lucky, however, will be graced with a massive jackpot of Crystals or Rainbow Cubes with a special on Lucky Tickets. How do they work? Claim a free ticket once every 8 hours and scratch off the squares to reveal your prize. ⚔️ Friendship Matches Added: Form a team of 3 and enter the other team’s ID to send them a friendly match invite. Friendly Matches do NOT provide Shop Points or Trophies!

😤 Early Disconnection Penalty Intensified: Leaving while a Team Fight is active will now impose a Trophy Deduction penalty in addition to the temporary matchmaking ban. Harsher penalties will be imposed for more frequent disconnections.

📜 Match History: Added history of the last 5 matches played, allowing you to copy and save the combis of any participant in the match

📒 Combi Saving Improvement: You can now save combis featuring elements that you have not unlocked yet (Cookies, Pets, Treasures)

🔥 Levels Hidden: Player Levels will not be shown when entering a match.

🎟 MAX Boost Tickets: Allows a one-time max-level boost for your team for free. These tickets will be accessible in future events. Buying a Season Pass will instantly activate the boost.

🎖 MVP: The player that contributes the most to the Team Mission during a match will now be named the team’s MVP! Boosters that activate a Max-Level Boost can be easily identified with a gold label, while everyone else on the team has a silver label.

•Forward Smash given priority status so as to no longer clank with other moves. FSmash now loops better so opponents do not fall out between hits 1 and 2

•Down Smash unchanged. Tbh I dunno what kind of change it would need. It is a very confusing attack.

•Up Smash now loops better so opponents cannot DI away to fall out between hits 1 and 2

-=Specials=-

•Backslash buffed considerably. Dealing a high ammount of damage from the back, killing at 100% in almost any situation. Backslash given super armour as well as the ability to cancel the move after a considerable ammount of time. (Just so Shulk can make it back to stage, should he side-b off of it)

•Vision now freezes multiple opponents should any attempt to interupt the counter.

Vision's freeze is now total, instead of just a slowdown. This prevents opponents from spotdodging after triggering Vision with an attack with low ammounts of endlag.

When triggering Vision with a projectile within close proximity to Shulk, both the projectile and the player firing it will be freezed.

Vision given significantly less endlag after completion.

Airborne Vision can now be angled upwards or downwards to adjust Shulk's attack to better hit opponents striking from above or below. Downward angled Air Vision will spike the opponent.

•Airslash now snaps the ledge from any point during the attack. Airslash hit 1 adjusted so opponents struck by it cannot DI out of hit 2

-=Monado Arts=-

•New Menu system added for Monado Arts

•Old B press system for Monado Arts changed to allow Shulk to continue inputs for Art cycling under any circumstance. Cycling may be continued even while attacking, dodging, or turning.

•Jump Art gains a knockback defense penelty in addition to its damage defense penelty

•Speed Art's damage penelty removed in exchange for a damage defense penelty

•Shield Art's ground speed, air speed, and jump height penelties removed. Shield's defense buffs lessened.

•Buster Art now increases hitstun of opponents struck with an attack to allow for better followups, this same attribute is applied to Shulk as well when he recieves a hit.

Some are meh it’s a change, but others are like HOLY CRAP!

1. Innervate now gains only 1 extra mana crystal. THAT’S HUGE! That means that 50% of what druid can normally do is now f*cked! I’m not sure if I’m too fond of this change, tbh, as it kind of ruins what is arguably the best card druid has in its arsenal.

2.Fiery War axe now costs 3. ANOTHER HUGE CHANGE! This made it into every warrior deck, and now it’s pretty crappy! But now, for the future, I have no idea how to see balanced low-cost weapons, because there are a LOT of 3/2s that cost three and have effects, and no real “In-between” for 2 cost weapons, so who knows?

3. Hex now costs 4. Yeah, I think that that’s fair. I played a crap ton of shaman when I was playing the game, and yeah, it didn’t matter that the frog had taunt, your opponent still couldn’t attack with it, so I think that change will help balance how you use it, maybe not if you use it or not.

4. Murloc Warleader no longer gives the health buff, only attack. I mean, it’s a debuff, but the warleader’s biggest problem was that it brough a ton of burst damage that still exists, so I think it’ll still see play.

5. The one everyone saw coming, spreading plague now costs 6. It needed that, but it’s still an amazing card that will just have some difficulty being in combos.

📚 There are surely no breaks in history being written here today… unfortunately, due to budgeting problems we lack a graphic for anything in Chapter 2 so far. But much like Chapter 1, you will need Odyssey Quills to advance the story in different scenes of the area, but THESE quills are exclusive to Chapter 2! That’s right, any quills you had in Chapter 1 after completing Day 5 will be converted to Crystals, where we’ll have a clean slate for the next chapter. Much like Chapter 1 again, you will complete relevant tasks to earn quills and other rewards on the side out of a set of 200, but you can only claim completion on 10 of these missions in a day.

🥐 This time around, there’s going to be a few battles tied into the story too! You don’t need more resources like Stamina Jellies or anything to do them, and you can skip them altogether once you’ve won that battle at least once! We need to establish that coordinate in time eventually! Complete Chapter 2 and those quills will also turn into Crystals!

…and they’re gone. I’m all alone again with nobody but this setup in front of me. Since you guys are already following this blog they created, I might as well follow them on their deal. First off, I can jump up to five times without having to land on the ground.

It’s amazing indeed, but that doesn’t begin to explain what I have to offer… once the gauge fills and I load enough venom into my stingers, a double-jump turns the “Slide” button into the “Stinger” button. Press it, and venomous barbs will whizz through the air at a downwards arc to dissolve obstacles on contact for Venom Destruction Points. I can do it up to five times before my ready supply of venom depletes.

Editor’s Note: These stings might be able to stack if you don’t use all 5 before the gauge fills again, but we don’t know that much yet. The gauge empties instantly once it fills and adds 5 to a ready counter that shows how many times you can use the stingers. We don’t know it’s maximum limit yet.

After every five stings, a double-jump instead turn into the “Dash” button. Use it at the right time to blast across the map and earn Scorpion Dash Points!

With my Magic Candy, my stinger attack covers everything in front of me with barbs instead of a downward arc. After my Scorpion Dash, one more finisher attack using my primary stinger will destroy more obstacles for Stinger Destruction Points.

Next, gaze into the Enchanted Mirror, the newest treasure to come to Ovenbreak. At given moments, the Eye of the Jelly Serpent will petrify obstacles and jellies, making them fall. Collecting Petrified Jellies scores more than regular jellies.

And now for my pet: the Dripping Tear Jar. This cute little jar collects Poison Jellies every few seconds and compiles them all into Dubious Potions that restore energy, but also drain a bit of energy away.

🦂 First off… some changes implemented at the start of the month will be reversed. These changes include:

First Skill Activation for Cookies and Pets

The inclusion of Invocation Cards

Initial skill activations were noted by many of you to be of great importance in areas of competition and an identifying characteristic for us Cookies. Therefore, this change will be implemented by the end of the month. A score re-balance for most affected Cookies will follow suit. More information can be found on the patch notes when the August update comes.

As for the Invocation Cards… their impact will be greatly reduced as of July 29th as they will no longer be able to be used in competitive modes such as:

Breakout

Trophy Race

Guild Run

Champions League

Grand Champions League

Cookie Trials

Infinite Trials

They will, however, be available for:

Main Story Mode

Custom Run

Curious Rainbow Mine (Keyholder Area)

On July 29th when the update launches, Invocation Cards cannot be used in the competitive modes listed above. Breakout rewards for all episodes will be given at once. Guild Run matchmaking will be unavailable between July 25th and July 29th. After the matchmaker re-opens, the cards can no longer be used in your runs. Likewise, you can’t use them in the postseason… if you make it there. They’re also looking into more effective ways to regularly collect Invocation Tokens and Shards through methods such as the Magic Laboratory, in-game shops, and regular gameplay.

You can also register for a refund if you purchased a package if you wish to get a refund as a result of the choice of adding Invocation Cards being mostly reversed. Due to these balancing changes, leaderboards for the following modes will be reset:

Breakout

Trophy Race (Top Scores)

To compensate for these changes for those that may have experienced disappointment in this update, you have received daily payments of 1000 Crystals and 1000 Rainbow Cubes over the past 6 days. They should still be in your mailbox to claim if you have not done so already.

As for Season 7 of the Grand Champions League for Tiger Lily Cookie, that has been officially… [Slams fist on table] CANCELLED. The Tiger Lily Champions League series will end with season 10 on August 22nd. Why was it cancelled? The Champions League will undergo some changes that require increased attention. If you already qualified for the tournament by earning a Grand Champions League ticket during the Tiger Lily seasons, then you will be compensated with her Super Epic costume, which will be sent to your mailbox at the end of August. Today marks the beginning of Season 8 of 10, so if you haven’t already ranked in the top 10%…

🐝 The Editor’s been too busy with other projects to get on track, but trust me. He’s getting back to it. As for why this post is being made, a number of dishonest bees were caught using an exploit with unsanctioned third-party software in the Hall of Desolation, AKA the “Maze of Endless Jumps”. It gives them an advantage over everyone else in a way that wasn’t intended by Devsisters (with “intended” advantages being with higher-level recent combis and certain selections from the Skill Tree).

So… what’s changing to make it more fair for everyone? The capstone skill at the end of the second branch of the Skill Tree for the Maze of Endless Jumps:

Before: “Bonus points for double jumps” Jump Points scored would increase with each jump, and there’s no time delay between jumps required for points to stack.

After: “Bonus points for jumps” +35,000 Jump Points, and a short time delay is required between jumps for points to increase.

Due to this edit, all scores that achieved a rank of SSS will be defaulted back to the target score required for the SSS rank of 930,000,000 points. No changes will be made to your highest-achieved rank.

With this update to the maze, we have a message from the developers on the in-game news bulletin:

“We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the usage of unsanctioned third-party programs and will do our best to prevent any such future issues.”
