You all have no idea how livid I am at my work using an improper filling for cannolis. A cannoli is a cannoli because it’s a cannoli! You can fuss with the end garnish but good lord do not put Boston creme in the filling!!!!
Some favorite father-daughter duos I've had come into my work recently:
Dad still in his construction worker clothes, including high-vis vest, out late at night with his tiny daughter dressed in her floofiest princess dress
Dad who spent the wait for his order checking his phone and watching bemusedly as his daughter proceeded to aggressively... Russian dance? (whatever the one with lots of kicks is) in the lobby
Dad and daughter who started to sing "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!" at each other when the song on the radio sampled it as I rang them up
Dad who bought cookies and came back like 5 minutes later with his toddler daughter and some change he'd scrounged up in the car so that she could hand it to me and buy her own cookie
In the back at work today I overheard a coworker up front say "Do it. Roundhouse kick me in the face. I'd like it, I'd get to go home early."
Afternoon/Evening shift JA is reigning employee-of-the-month, but 6AM shift JA is going to fist-fight her manager in the back parking lot

My job gives out pins for different areas, like customer service. Anyway it's really funny to me that the cleaning one is treated literally just as a consolation prize for annoying jobs. Everything else has qualifications and whatnot but when they hand out the cleaning pin it's literally just like "you scrubbed behind the fridge last week. Congrats." or "You cleaned the oven and it was really annoying. Here you go."
