This baked gnocchi dish is a comforting and filling pasta recipe that combines pillowy potato gnocchi with marinara sauce and creamy ricotta cheese. It is baked to perfection and topped with gooey cheese.
Ingredients: 1 lb potato gnocchi. 1 cup ricotta cheese. 1 cup marinara sauce. 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh basil leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C. Following the directions on the package, cook the gnocchi. Once done, drain them and set them aside. Put olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about one minute, until the garlic smells good. Put marinara sauce in the pan and let it cook for two to three minutes. Bring the cooked gnocchi into the sauce and mix it in well. Place the gnocchi and sauce mix in a baking dish. Put small amounts of ricotta cheese on top of the gnocchi mix. On top of the ricotta, sprinkle grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Add pepper and salt to taste. Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles. Before serving, sprinkle with fresh basil leaves.
