Speaking of that article
I just posted I read another one that talked about how the metaphors discussed in Ovid's Metamorphosis were "oppressive" and "triggering" for Ivy league Colombian students. My English class this year read and dissected the whole text with out a problem. Yes the themes in Ovid are grotesque but a college level student (especially Colombia) should posses the skills necessary to critically analyze the text.
