While Al has a certain skill in potion-making and other odd sciences, his company would be nothing without the partnership of Bahira.  Al started the company on his own, but hired Bahira as a researcher.  Bahira’s primary interest was in learning, and an opportunity this odd definitely afforded several lessons to learn.  However, Bahira soon bored of working with Al and the two parted on good terms.  Bahira would go on to do things vastly more terrible, while Al would more or less stay on the same path as before, using Bahira’s discoveries for smaller things.
