i think i need to stop getting so caught up in what other people want or think is correct bc itās really just limiting me and stressing me out at this point
#people having different interpretations is part of what makes fandom interesting#it feels like my brain is trying to bend over backwards trying to conform to what other people think#like. no??? donāt do that???#itās like this weird thing where iām convinced everyone else is right except me#which i guess is just a normal social thing. thatās how social norms happen and societies function#but iām not sure why itās cropping up so much right now for me#this is silly. everyone else is fine with saying whatever why am i trying to appeal to people.#BAH.#i think the silliest instance of this is with yugi and the puzzleās weird relationship#(yes thereās a name for it but i donāt want this to go into that very sparse tag lol)#iām trying to get my head around everyone elseās interpretations of it at the expense of my own#because for some reason iāve got it in my head that the idea doesnāt belong to me#which is silly because i think the whole thing was kickstarted by nyx and i rambling in each othersā inboxes#i think. maybe. iām pretty sure.#whatever. doesnāt matter.#i guess maybe iām just too desperate to talk to people and itās making me feel like i have to minimize myself to do that#i donāt knowwwwwww#point is i should really stop beating myself up thinking i donāt have good ideas#ramblings#why am i so nervous about posting this#why am i so nervous in general right now actually#maybe iām overstimulated or something
