#baffled!

Undoubtedly a perfect outfit for a late-night dip in the English Channel.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. The concept is exquisitely absurd. Leonard is delightful. I have absolutely no idea what happened in it. I kept getting distracted by how implausibly beautiful Susan Hampshire is.

Tom Kovack is a world-class race car driver who suddenly starts having psychic visions, causing him to crash dramatically, miraculously sustaining no injuries. He talks about this on television and immediately regrets it (face made identical to a face he has made a million times when asked about ears). Impossibly beautiful antique book dealer turns up and says, what you saw was real, are you going to let that woman die? And he says, you're sweet, but quite mad, would you like to go out for Armenian food? And she says no, but if you want to go to England to investigate your gift and the forces of evil, look me up. Then he nearly drowns in his living room.

Filmed in England, quite nostalgic and delightful from a films made in England perspective. There's an Italian butcher who's lying about his job for reasons I never figured out.

There's this voice in his vision that goes it's Wyndham in Devon, dear repeatedly, and that has been added to the collection of things that drift fruitlessly about in my brain
