Flying To My Mother’s Arms On My Father’s Wings
There should be something said about a young mech flying alone, no support behind him, and having a determined look upon his face. One would say that the young mech was on a mission. That he was not stopping for anything and wouldn't let anything get in his path.
That was exactly what this young mech was doing. Flying high in the air, gliding through parts of space, blasting his thrusters now and again to get more boost if he felt he was going slow. He was determined to get somewhere, find someone, and reunite with this person that he remembered from his sparkling days.
The young mech moved to an asteriod and landed upon it, rolling and flipping on it to make sure he didn't fall off as he too a tiny bit of time to have a moment of seeing where he would be heading to next. There was no symbol on his chassis, no definition of what affiliation he had, he looked really young. And this was really, really, really young. Like he just entered his young adult stage as he went out on this mission.
Which wasn't too far from the truth, as soon as he had been able, he left home, taking just one thing with him that wasn't of home, not it belonged to someone else, the person he was looking for, that had given it to him before they disappeared from his life.
The young mech gripped the item as he had it wrapped around his wrist and looked at the small charm and kissed it lightly.
"I'm coming Mom" he said softly, thinking of sad dual colored optics that had watched him sadly as he went to his adopted creators. He remembered so little of that day, but he remembered his carrier's words, the words of love and how he would miss him, and how he wished only the best for him, and how sorry he was for what he did. The young flier held the charm close before taking off again, seeming to be heading to a planet way off in the distance that might give him a hint of where he could find a lead to his mother.
