Every so often I feel like this drama could switch and reveal that Hyuk has been the second male lead all this time.(I know I know 😂)

Why?

Well episode Fourteen...felt like Je Hoon and Joon’s date.

Hyuk was the one being all self sacrificing in the relationship.(Romance speaking)(Je Hoon was sacrificing to a whole new level and sidebar someone SAVE Him)

How much I like Hyuk(go with me here)

I adore second male leads. Always.

And in this case I adore Hyuk. He’s grown so much over the course of the drama. And so much has been revealed about the kind of person he always was.

His love has turned very sacrificing(classic second male lead)

And lastly...and I hesitate to say this because I don’t want it to sound like a critical thought...(so this is not an anti statement.)

I don’t think Hyuk and Baek Joon’s love story has had enough growth...I don’t believe they are in love..I definitely believe he loves her and she likes him and is attracted to him.

But I also believe she likes Je Hoon and is attracted to him...and she cried when Je Hoon left and basically told her he had liked her all this time.

When Huyk repeatable told her and has kissed her...she never hesitates in telling him to be her friend(and telling herself to wait and see)

When she liked Je Hoon she told him.

When Je Hoon told her she cried and said nothing.

Are there a million other ways you could interpret these events? Are there things I haven’t mentioned from other points of views? Can I see the flaw in some of my reasoning and is it possible the last episodes will have all the growth Hyuk and Joon need?

Is it possible I have second male lead blinders on to Hyuk and Joon’s growth?

Yes, yes, yes, yes sir and big yes.
