arriving at the address evelyn had sent her, sasha had to exhale a deep breath as she climbed out of her car. coming back from the conference, she'd been on cloud nine given the way things had played out between the two. they had at least established that they were going to explore this the right way this time: with no wife and no ex-boyfriend in the picture, thankfully. she'd also spent every night of the trip in evelyn's bed, and the older woman didn't hold back this time either, so she'd come back home and back to work in a rather good mood. that all changed when human resources called her into their office just before it was time to clock out. they made it clear that evelyn didn't know about this, and that they were just investigating a claim someone had made, yet it felt like an interrogation as far as sasha was concerned. being cornered like that triggered something inside of her, and once she denied everything and was allowed to leave, she made her way to the house tour as planned. yet now that she was here, her excitement for helping her boss find a new house was shattered, and part of her just wanted to go home and sulk. it was too late for that, however, so she just attempted to pull herself together as she walked into the house. spotting the realtor first, she greeted the woman as warmly as she could before she turned her attention to evelyn. "i need to talk to you after this, so can we get started? i don't know how these tours work but..i'm ready, i guess."

“Christopher...”

Strutting straight back between all the police officers and detectives, she walked up to Gwyneth’s desk without so much as a ‘Hello’ or ‘Good Afternoon” instead she had a bright smile on her face. "There really needs to be better security around here,” Camille held her head high as she gloated, sitting on the edge of Gwyneth’s desk. The brunette didn’t bother to see if the other was in the middle of something or not. She really had finessed the cop into believing there was some dire emergency for letting her rush back into the precinct and she was running off the adrenaline. Without much regard she scanned Gwyneth from head to toe and raised her eyebrows, “This can work,” she hummed softly tilting her head. “You own a dress, right?” She flashed her pearly whites in attempt to soften the question, not that it wouldn’t lead to confusion but she was a woman on a mission with questions that needed to be answered. “Or are you more of a power suit kind of girl?” Her eyebrows raised in anticipation. 

POP. “5 DARTS FOR A DOLLAR.”— the sound of game alarms and children screaming clouded Audrey’s background as she walked through the fair. This was probably one of the most lively events that happened in her town, it was a sense of freedom and the brunette wouldn’t miss it for the world. Currently, she was standing alone in a small line, waiting patiently to get her hands on a peanut covered caramel apple. Hands reaching into her cross-strapped purse, Audrey pulled out her small wallet, preparing for the moment when she reached the counter. 

"Oh my God. You're in love with her!” Lucy exclaimed when she came to the realization. Normally she wouldn’t comment on such things, but they were making it pretty obvious now and she had a hard time not saying anything. Sure, it might’ve stung a bit to learn that, but whatever made them happy, right? She was good at hiding her true emotions. “You should tell her. It’s not like you’re getting any younger. Better act now before someone else comes up and swoops in and you’re fucked, not knowing what could’ve happened.” 

sasha had been enjoying the pride festivities, or at least the drinking part of it anyways, since her and her friends had arrived. while she was determined to be single for the foreseeable future, her friends had insisted that she mingle, at least let hot women flirt and buy her drinks, so she was trying to do that. she had turned down the first handful, all of them being far from her type and not even hot enough to be hitting on her — but then there was jaime. the woman was older, hot, and didn't seem to want anything more to invite sasha over for drinks with her friends. deciding to take her up on her offer, she joined the woman as she headed for her table, and she'd just picked up a glass of tequila when she spotted her. "evelyn?" she stated, her voice choking up a little as she realized that the two women were friends, and now this was rather awkward. "right, i uh..i should go."
