So apparently my boss realized she crossed a line on Monday. I went in to ask her a question and she went on this complimentary little kick, letting me know how valuable I am and that she appreciates my talent and dedication and then apologized for overstepping her bounds.

It was nice to hear.

And she said that part of the impetus for it was because she was stressing out because someone busted a window in the office this weekend. Of course, she also admitted that wasn’t an excuse, which I appreciated.

Not sure how I feel about it. The apology and the recognition were nice, but the fact that I’ve seen outbursts like this before. And I’m not staying. I want out of this state.
