I do this letter of the day activity with one of my kids at work. First we come up with words that start with the letter, then we talk about what the letter looks like, and then he practices writing it in various sizes. Today’s letter was Y. I had to explain what a yeti was, and we ended up googling it. English is his second language, but I gathered that my yeti left much to be desired.
