If you're gonna discriminate or criticize anyone based on their appearance or somethin, God damn, can't you at least keep it to yourself? I mean, I'm guilty of criticizing cosplay mainly based on what they did poorly and what could be done to improve, but that's only between friends and I, in private, on a damn IM. And we don't make it a point to throw it up on a public site and go "Hey guys, look at this, point and laugh".
Like, dude, don't go publicly humiliating someone. They could've been beginner cosplayers for all we know, maybe they didn't have the time or the money to get the stuff they needed to improve on their cosplay (Ben Nye makeup and products aren't that cheap yanno), we've all had to have been there at some point. Since when was cosplaying a fucking beauty pageant? It's supposed to be about the fun of becoming your favorite character and derping around with others. Yeah, I've seen my share of questionable cosplayers, but if they look like they're having their fun and don't give a shit about what other people think, then leave them be!
God, this is the exact reason that I rarely-to-never cosplay anymore (aside from lack of funds and time), because there are dickwads like these who think that it's hilarious to embarrass someone in the cruelest way possible.
What are you seriously trying to gain from that? The satisfaction that you've successfully pushed someone out of the fun of the cosplay world? Well congratufuckinglations, looks like you get a fucking gold star, assholes.

Please don't cosplay if you're not willing to spend money on it. I hate nothing more than to see a half-assed cosplay with an outfit that barely reassembles the character, no make-up, and hair which doesn't even look like the character. The whole point of cosplay is to look like/become the character. If you're not willing to put the effort into it than don't cosplay at all.
