Having grown up playing drums in school jazz bands, Jazz has always held a special place in my musical preferences. While it is not something I listen to regularly, I really enjoy it, with artists like Pat Metheny, and The Thing, constantly progressing what can be achieved musically within the genre. Continuing in this vein of progression is Canada's own BADBADNOTGOOD, and if you haven't heard of the rise of this hip-hop inspired jazz trio, you've been living under a rock. We've had the pleasure to see them live twice, and after listening to the latest album 'III', we can't wait to add a third! We expect continued great work from these guys in the years to come!
