"GOOD, BAD — I'M THE GUY WITH THE GUN!"

poster for an upcoming showing of army of darkness that i am VERY excited about, as it is the only film in the trilogy that i haven't caught on the big screen yet. i wanted to do a playing card theme, and chose the king of diamonds for ash and evil ash, because it felt the most fitting. the theater will be selling 11x17 prints before the show, but i have plans to test out risograph printing on this design.

I love Bad Ash and I wish we saw him more. And no, not Evil Ash, but BAD Ash. Like, for the minutes we saw him before he was shot and dismembered and got all demonic and stuff, because after that his personality completely changed. Before that he was so silly, so goober. A little chaos gremlin. Just came off as more playful-but-too-rough as opposed to genuinely violent. Like, would he have ACTUALLY killed Ash at that moment? Nah, he was just goofin off, being a little menace. He did a lil dance and was baby. He’s my glup shitto and I love him. Why like half of his scene was removed from most versions is beyond me because this is SILLY LITTLE GUY ERASURE. I will forever defend the unhinged fella.
