Work from Animation Discipline.
Did some life drawings in the People's Park. Used the drawings to create backgrounds, foregrounds and midgrounds for the Mini Me project. Used mostly colouring pencils for the pictures.
Also am drawing from reference to the artist of my choice, Vashti Harrison, Illustrator of Sulwe, a children's book about inner beauty.
We drew from real life using the People's Park as the location.
It was a wet enough day. I had to go under the gazebos for shelter so my paper I was working on wouldn't get wet.
It was interesting drawing this way, as I was so used to using 2d photos and drawings as references.
I also used colour to get a feel for the scene and image.
