Q1: Since when have you known hide?
A: Since I first heard “Tell Me”, included on a cassette tape my older brother had at the time.
Q2: Please tell us what kind of impression you had at the time.
A: He was a person whose presentation and hairstyle were insanely flashy, yet he sang melodies more beautiful than I could imagine, and at that time, that gap took me by surprise.
Q3: Please tell us of a way in which hide influenced you.
A: I, too, suffered from a complex about my own appearance when I was a child, and he taught me that people can change if they are willing to and don’t give up.
Q4: What did hide mean to you?
A: My eternal goal, my eternal hero.
Q5: How did you collect information?
A: I seriously browsed through bookstores (laughs), and also was taught things by my friends and so on.
Q6: Out of hide’s songs, which is your favorite and why?
A: “Bacteria”. Saw the PV on MTV and was dealt instant damage. It’s the song that awoke me to heavy sounds.
