1974 ad for the Airfix model kit of the BAC Strikemaster (or BAC 167 Strikemaster). The BAC stood for British Aircraft Corporation and in RAF use it was known as the BAC Jet Provost where it was mainly used as a trainer and was never fitted with armaments.
The Red Pelicans aerobatic display team mentioned were a forerunner of the Red Arrows but flew alongside them at times until they were disbanded in 1973.
