Okie dokie!!! . Some pretty poorly photographed befores and afters of the sunroom! . When we moved in, the sunroom had this strange carpet throughout. It has to be the worst decision ever to put carpet in a room that comes in from a lake...................... . Anyway- Josh ripped the carpet up and then with the help of his dad, that was the first room to get our new flooring! It is completely waterproof and scratch proof and has already been through the ringer. It’s LVT in Heritage Oak from Shaw Floors. . Because our brains were focused on other projects, we lived without baseboards in there for about five months. We just had this strip of unpainted wood all the way around the room 😜 . But yesterday, my hero Josh put in the textured PVC baseboards. They blend right in with the natural wood of the room! The added bonus??? Also completely waterproof☺️ . Aside from snapping these silly photos, I used an entire tube of caulk on our dining room shelves and the master bedroom built-ins. I enjoy not seeing seams!! I finally built our first drawer front as well. It has been assembled, filled, and caulked. Now I just need to sand down the rough cut edges and we’ll be good to install! We’ve reached the part of the project where drastic changes are on hold.
