it was a really tough week, especially after a terrible economics test on friday. i’m trying to bounce back from it, though! i hope you all had a better week, at least! as a sidenote, isn't this jar of honeycomb in honey pretty?
Babylonstoren, eine der am besten erhaltenen und noch aktiven Obst- und Weinfarmen im kap-holländischen Stil, liegt zwischen Franschhoek und Stellenbosch inmitten des Weinlandes.
Die Farm wurde im Jahre 1690 gegrĂĽndet. Das Manor House stammt aus dem Jahr 1777. Das Kornhuis, der Getreide- und Heuspeicher, und der Keller aus dieser Zeit sind in gutem Zustand erhalten. Ein HĂĽhnerstall, ein Taubenhaus, ein Glockenturm und die historischen Tore stehen im traditionellen Hof, der von einer niedrigen, weiĂź gekalkten Mauer umgeben ist.
Babylonstoren, one of the best preserved and still active Cape Dutch-style fruit and wine farms, lies between Franschhoek and Stellenbosch in the middle of the wine country.
The farm was founded in 1690. The Manor House dates from 1777. The Kornhuis, the grain and hay barn, and the cellar from this period are in good condition. A chicken coop, a pigeon house, a bell tower and the historic gates stand in the traditional courtyard, which is surrounded by a low, whitewashed wall.
