small thoughts/reviews of the crib I picked out so far. this is the Sorelle Vista Elite crib and changer combo. It’s sold exclusively at BabiesRus and runs for $499.99... here are thoughts so far (mainly because the baby being here to utilize the crib will make for the final review) PROS- i love the fact that the crib is a changer combo, the draws really do have a lot of space!! it makes more storage in the room to hold diapers, cloths, bibs, blankets or however you decide to organize!! The colors it came in are all beautiful (white, cherry, espresso&vintage frost) and the overall quality of the wood is sturdy and beautiful. it’s perfect for a smaller room where you normally couldn’t make a dresser a changing setup. The crib will eventually turn into a full size bed and the changing part turns into a small end table! Once I have her room completely put together I’m going to do a little nursery tour! CONS- the changing table itself is a little tight and there is no room up top to lay down the box of wipes, or place other things needed for during the diaper change/clothing change. ill utilize the space in the crib to the left of it but that kind of defeats the purpose. it came with a changing pad that is so thin and flimsy.. and literally it cannot be changed out because NO other changing pads fit into the dimensions it was made into! I’ll make a custom one, just so it’s a little more padded and raised but again.. that’s defeating the purpose...🤦🏼‍♀️ where you see the mattress in the crib is literally as high up as it will go! It is a pretty far reach into the crib and with me being short/having shorter arms it would definitely be a small struggle if I have to have a cesarean section. It will all be okay with help from family though, and if it came down to where it was I do have a small pack and play that was gifted where she could sleep until I healed! Overall the crib is beautiful, and I think its going to be with us forever! I hope its an amazing crib when I go to have my little princess use it💕💕
