#Repost @closetluxenyc ・・・ Just Do It! ▫▫▫ Recently, I shared a photo wearing a t-shirt that reads CUCCI (Coochie) with a font very similar to a specific brand, before the picture captioned "F^CK 5 hunnit dollas for a t-shirt", was shared, I found myself lusting over a $500 t-shirt. I'd visit images online, imagined my looks abd luxe life with it. After a few visits, I started to have feelings of defeat: why is this t-shirt so ridiculously priced? The people I see wearing it can't comfortably afford it... why are they breaking their necks to buy it!?!? My defeat turned into anger. "How are they charging people $500 for a t-shirt that's made in China, along with everything else?!" The fashion industry feeds off Black Culture without paying homage and while I could seriously go on & on about my feelings, my frustration took me to my best friend Kinna LeBlanc---who is graphic designer and fellow creative influencer----through my $500 rant & rave of frustration we came up with the CUCCI concept. We used the CUCCI concept to partner with accessory designer, Dawn Renee and photographer Natasha H. to create this around the way Girl themed photo-story. As of now, CUCCI is not for sale But is a reminder to do WHATEVER THE F^CK YOU WANT.
