Transparency
I just had a conversation with someone where they mentioned finding out who they truly are. This is a question that we all have especially when coming to Christ. It may take some time to learn your purpose and walk in it. What I can say to help you along this journey is understand who you are NOT. You are not a child of satan, and you are NOT of this world. You are the salt of the earth meant to preserve what is right, what is holy and what is acceptable to God.Β
Repentance is our action and forgiveness is God's reaction

Repentance
This is a daily action. Its the action of turning away from what seperated you from God-sin. We ALL sin daily, but we canβt stay in that sinful place. I encourage you today to come out of darkness and embrace the light Jesus Christ provides. Allow him to clean your heart and renew your mind with the right spirit-the holy spirit.Β
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1: 6-8

Powerless
God desires for his spirit (Holy Spirit) to reside in us, but we must repent. Jesus Christ caused sin to be powerless. Sin no longer has the power to hold us captive. Make it a lifestyle to consistently stay away from what can lead you into sin. Pray, recognize, and repent.

Passion
Whenever you have an encounter with God, I want you to remember your posture at that moment. Remember how hungry you were for the Holy Spirit, remember how submitted you were, remember how desperate you were, and remember how driven you were. To stay connected to Jesus, we must never lose our passion to see God move in our life. Sometimes we have to step outside of the ordinary to see the hand of an extraordinary God! I pray the hand of God touches you in your reading time today.
