Unpopular opinion: Wing never beat Drift to get him to change. I can't fully explain properly and there's not enough room in the ask box but I did get a second opinion and we both agreed that was not Wing's intention nor a norm of Crystal City. We speculated that Wing was going to let Drift leave after teaching him to fight properly without needing to rely on guns.
