One would think the startled yelps of other people would get the bird’s nerd attention right away...but no, it’s actually his Hawlucha who hops back with the reflexes of a ninja before the dog could get too close.

The poor man was about to indulge in the sweet tang of frozen water shards in a flimsy paper cup before, a force, SMACKS the treat right out of his hands. Falkner shambles to grab it before it hits the pavement but--oh, well, so much for that! 

This was a hard scene for the Pokemon to watch, but it was the call to action that caused him to shake his head and spring into action not a second later, “H-hey! Get the pup!”
