This is becoming the time where old music artists and groups are coming back including Spice Girls, Omarion, Bow Wow, and etc. Now the Pussycat Dolls have announced that they are reuniting for a tour as soon as next year.

#YESSGIRL The gossip was confirmed by lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, who also confessed that she suffered with bulimia. Nicole said that she wasn’t comfortable telling her bandmates about it and it lead to the group falling apart. “I hit it from the world; I was extremely ashamed,” Scherzinger said. “When you’re battling your own demons and insecurities, it’s not something you want to share with other people.”

The group been split up for nearly 10 years after battling with bulimia and excessive use of alcohol. “I hope it’s different because WE are different,” the lead singer told Too Fab. “It is ten years on now. We all bring our own unique gifts to the group. I am so excited and we have grown so much.”

Carmit Barchar left two years before the split. In a 2012 interview, she blamed Scherzinger’s ambitions for a solo career and the overemphasized favoritism. Jessica Sutta dealt with alcoholism while on tour. “The lifestyle is not normal,” the group member said. “ You’re drinking champagne in the morning on these private jets. You get really unhealthy habits which, for an alcoholic, is the worst thing that could ever happen to you

A source told the Sun:

“The X factor producers approached Nicole about the idea of performing with the girls and she jumped at the chance, It’s going to be their first big performance of the reunion and will be extra special for Nicole because of her role in the show. ‘Having the Pussycat Dolls perform is a real coup for Simon Cowell and he has told Nicole to pull out all the stops to make sure their routine gets people talking.”

What lead to the idea of the girls linking up together 10 years later? Nicole’s apology to all the members who were affected by the cause of the split. After publicly apologizing to the group members, the road to healing for the group begin to process and lead to a reunion tour.

Despite Melody not chipping into the road to recovery, founder Robin Antin said the door “was and is always open. It wasn’t right for Melody at this time,” addressing that there might be some emotions that still need to be dealt with.

The tour will begin in the UK in April 2020 - which Nicole is already a judge on “The X Factor.” The singer also revealed that a new album is in the works but they are currently focusing on “brushing off the old limbs.”
