This one's strength was much enhanced by stolen soul. They are not the first who tried to hoard it, or to mould it towards such violent ends.

A huge and imposing beast of a warrior, the chief of the Stilkin is as fearsome and miserable a creature as the rest of its domain. The Stilkin have adapted and mastered the use of the terrain of their home turf unlike any other faction I've encountered in Pharloom. Even getting to their village is a challenge as grueling as facing the most powerful foe. Groal the Great is not the most powerful foe, but to challenge him is to fight a war of attrition against the Stilkin and the foul Bilewater itself. When Groal finally shows his face, he makes full use of the foulness of his home; spitting foul slime and sucking one in like a fly. I found that if he swallowed me, I could get plenty of free strikes on him, at the cost of a few of my own masks. A worthy trade-off, though one I had to make intentionally. That, I believe, is the beauty of all of Bilewater. Fighting my way through it was a miserable experience, but more than any other trial I've faced in Pharloom, it taught me that every strike and every move counted.
