Didn't have enough room to add more about my spooky house... so I never told my parents about this (they thought i was too young to realize the house was haunted) I used to have these dreams almost every night that my parents would come in my room and stab me with a knife and then id wake up and be too afraid to go to them. but also I remember actually talking back to the mirror and it had this really deep voice but it didnt scare me at the time but now i always look down when i walk by mirrors
thats probably the best call tbh, if mirrors were fuccin with u that early on who knows what havoc they might wreak now
and thats a really specific/scary recurring dream for a little kid to have!! i cant imagine what could cause that holy shit
So when I was really young we lived in a haunted house where like stuff would move around when you weren't looking and you would hear noises like a baby crying in the night and (sometimes) you would see the figure of an old lady walk down the hallway, nothing too bad but creepy in general. HOWEVER!! when we moved out my mom told me that when we were in the car on the way to the new house I turned and asked if the mirrors in the new house would talk to me this time. my mom almost crashed the car

i have a REALLY similar story from my grandmas old house… basically there was this hall closet that had the outline of a person engraved in the wood (i posted a pic of it here: http://chikkou.tumblr.com/post/93103688140/omg-are-you-talking-about-a-video-game-or-like) and my grandma said that every one of her kids (myself included) used to talk to that door before suddenly getting scared of it and refusing to ever go near it again.
we all consistently described it the same way too - the person in the door was a little boy, his name was billy, he was white with blue eyes and light hair and freckles, and he was in the door because he did something bad. we all kind of joked abt it as we got older but i think we all knew there was an undercurrent of seriousness to it bc we still wouldnt go anywhere near that door if we could help it, and i definitely saw it open on its own on more than one occasion
