Yeah the only silver lining in their doing a 12-episode batch dump was, you figured at least while the weekly TV airings were happening they'd be getting more content ready to air soon after the wait. With new eps not happening until fall, it really is as if it had been aired weekly to begin with. I wouldn't mind waiting if it meant higher quality production but now we know we'll get another 12-episode block to sift through. It's making the season unfun and it's a shame because Stone Ocean really is one of the best parts. Jolyne deserves better.
Btw there's still no info on when the rest of SO comes out, right? If the Japan TV airing has no breaks they would reach a new episode on April 2, but you think there's any hopes of that happening? Idk if mid-season breaks are a thing in japanese TV.
I haven't seen anything reliable about the new episodes yet, and I sort of feel like new episodes or a break are both equally likely. Guess we wait to find out...

Yeah everyone’s sort of slimmed-down in their Part 6 anime models. Although it’d be great if Part 6 anime Dio was just huge for no reason.
Have you seen the news about SO being released in a "monthly schedule"? media.netflix.com/en/only-on-netflix/80179831 Some people have been talking about batches of 4 episodes. I hope Japan still gets the JoJo Fridays so we can watch it like that :/

From what I've read, Japan will get TV broadcasts starting in January, so it sounds like there will be Jojo Fridays? But yeah, I guess we wait for the full details. :/

I love that you called it a fanfic. The translation really does come across as stilted (painfully so). The guy who translated it does a great job with his stuff so I wonder if the raw, which I haven't read, is like that too. Nisioisin might have fallen into the trap of "19th century man = speaking like he's in made-for-TV period drama." imo this doesn't really suit Dio, who Araki ties throughout Part 1 to the concept of the Modern (in contrast to Jonathan's traditionalism). Dio's a guy who uses a 20th-century boxing technique in the 19th century and who Araki feels free to write dialog for in both English and American slang. His journal should be a lot more fun to read.
was there an update to remove the bee dance minigame or something? I started my second playthrough and was looking forward to seeing if there was an achievement for high-scoring all of it but they didn't make me play through that minigame at all
oh wow you’re right, it’s just gone. the game did just update to include the credits, i suppose they must’ve gotten rid of that minigame at the same time.
