genuinely, i do not believe that any disabled person "needs" to make sure they can do certain things or act in a certain way. i don't think anyone is required to do any amount of self improvement. if an autistic person wants to stay home and eat nothing but takeout and never even look at a vegetable that person should get 10 billion dollars

some disabled people -- yes, including people with the disabilities you don't think are disabilities, like social anxiety or depression -- will never, ever be able to do things by themselves. some socially anxious people will never, in their life, be able to socialise on their own. some socially anxious people would be genuinely putting themselves in danger if they tried to. and no matter how many posts you make about "If you are a socially anxious person, you have to socialize [...] and it cannot always be solved by having someone else do it for you", those people still will not be able to do things on their own, still will not be safe trying to socialise on their own
