Bigass doodle dump! Let's break it down: 1st: from a thought of "What if Astrid grew horns" we had that we decided not to follow in canon. Astrid would have been worried that Azhka wouldn't like them, Azhka meanwhile is very bi and hi hello tall girlfriend 2nd: ref I had done EARLY on (like, roughly while I was playing through ARR) of what I imagine miqote fluff to pattern like for some miqos (this is Azhka, specifically). 3rd: ref of Astrid's enhrouded form, which looks far more like a sineater than a voidsent 4th: Big doodlesheet! Astrid hoisting her wife out of the water .2 seconds before dumping her back into the ocean, a pregnant Azhka (Astrid fantasia'd for a bit so they could have a child between the two of them), post-birth (Airik, their son, has a LOT of aether imbalance issues and he almost died shortly after birth because it was all out of whack. Astrid blames herself a little bit, Azhka has to soothe her that it's neither of their fault), Astrid holding her son and then Airik and his carbuncle begging for goodies Astrid belongs to @shoelesscosmonaut
I did a limited type co-op nuzlocke with @shoelesscosmonaut where we each played our FFXIV characters and we were each allowed up to two pokemon of the other person’s type list but they HAD to be traded. Rules: 1) We could catch whatever, but we were ONLY allowed to use pokemon of the three typed for our trainer (Mine were normal, fairy, grass. His were Fighting, Steel, Fire)- Tera typing did not count 2) The first pokemon of that type or evolved into that type had to be added to the party and could NOT be swapped out unless there was a death or we were trading pokemon.
3) We were allowed up to two pokemon traded from the other person that had types in their type pool
4) ONE mulligan was allowed in case we ran into a trainer/started a gym that was too high level (we avoided guides)
I had 10 deaths (oof), but managed to get through everything just fine! Had to use my mulligan on a trainer battle on the way up to look at the E4 building. The first trainer there has level 14 pokemon and the wild mons are around level 8. The only other trainer, about 20ft away from the first, had a LEVEL 57 POKEMON and I only had level 20′s kfjhsdjf. All-in-all, a real fun way to run Scarlet for the first time!
