Alina is a beautiful girl, but to say she should quit skating and become a model is just disgusting. I’ve seen a lot of comments saying that she should just “quit and be a celebrity” or “she won’t surpass this moment” (meaning the Worlds title) as TSL said. People went wild when it was said that Eteri allegedly told Zhenya to “go and have babies.” How is this any different? Its not fair to undermine her achievments like this and basically say she should retire. I’m disappointed with the fans when I see comments like this. It is the skaters decision when they put down the skates, not yours.

Kinda sad that Alina chose such an overplayed piece of music like Carmen for her free program. Don Quixote, Phantom of the Opera, Black Swan and now this. I'm dying to see some originality from her. There are soooo many beautiful pieces of music out there to choose from. ugh.
