Lord, if this man took any longer than a minute to get to his door, she’d end up busting it down herself. Sure, a quick pick of the lock might be easier, but she was feeling dramatic and aggressive. As would any person should they be woken rudely at 4:30am every goddamned morning.

The door swung open and the man snapped at her. Had she not had a cap on her instinct, she would’ve snapped him with her fist. Because of this cap on temperamental outbursts though, her fist just gave a twitch.
