My non-drunk friend was waiting on their food to get done in the microwave when the dryer dinged, in the other room. They proceeded to take the food out (after about 20 seconds, mind you), then started crying because it was still frozen and the microwave must be broken.

Did anyone else used to read countless books every year but now you’re lucky to make it a couple chapters into a handful of books because now every time you sit down to read you get anxious for no apparent reason but you’re still addicted to buying every book you can get your hands on because you remember what it was like to get truly lost inside a story and you can’t help but long for that feeling again... or is that just me?
My first thought when I saw “favorite bars,” was “who has that many favorite bars?” I guess mine would be chocolate bars, lemon bars, gold bars… Then I realized what he meant… And I’m pretty sure that says something about me. I’m just not sure what.

My anxiety is worse when I have to call places. Like I can walk into a deli or a restaurant or a store and talk to the people. But hand me a phone and I'm useless. My father just yelled at me for ordering Chinese food thru grub hub instead of calling
I used to be the same way! I avoided making phone calls at all costs. I would even write down everything I needed to say before I called.😅 Then I had to make a LOT of calls for a fundraising comity I was on for a class. Now I would much rather talk to people over the phone than in person. At least then they can’t see me turning red.😳
I'm so awkward it's painful.
It's so weird to me how people in my classes just go around being all interesting and likeable and I'm just there like *derp*
