Hello, there.  I see someone’s intrigued.

In the middle of heavy pedestrian traffic, in the business district, there was a portal. It was big and made of rusty metal, you’d think it was some sort of modern art installation if not for the swirling energy vortex inside the iron framework. An armed soldier stood in front of it, but nobody seemed to care, or even pay it a second glance. One idiot asked if it was a new hot dog stand, but when he was told no he just left. He then returned ten minutes later trying to get a hot dog out of the soldier, claiming Americans are entitled to free food.
