Yknow, I get it. InuKag had to send Moroha away with Hachi to live with Kouga, because if she’d been RIGHTFULLY sent off with big brother Shippo, none of the proceeding crap would’ve happened. No kodoku, no being sold, no debt, and Shippo would’ve, yknow. DONE SOMETHING to try and save her parents.

So I get it.

Of course they also should’ve had a fun easy childhood where Shippo would come home from fox-college and these two would get into mischief while Inu and Kag sat comfortably at home taking care of their additional children but that’s none of my business.

I just saw some crap anime review site call Kagome a Damsel in Distress, and imma bout to throw hands.

Kagome. Who nearly destroyed Naraku early in the series and then actually destroyed him at the end of it.

Kagome who could obliterate a demon with her sacred arrows.

Kagome who repeatedly and fearlessly faced Inuyasha during his dangerous demon transformations.

Kagome who is willing to jump into any battle to save someone’s life.

Even in the anime, where the writers had her get kidnapped waaaaay more than she ever was in the manga, she’s still a boss.

Kagome Higurashi: the real hero of the series
