considering she has older siblings for them to focus on, you might think anna would’ve gotten off a little easier with her parents, but that was never the case. the mccarthy’s were all about churning out talent, which was kind of difficult for someone as boisterous and fun-loving as anna. she was generally hyperactive and constantly wanted to dip her toes into everything—everything other than anything that could’ve ever made her famous, unfortunately for her parents. regardless of their attempts to push her in the direction of acting or something else of the like, anna remained naturally eager and excitable about pretty much everything but. her big personality and strong will saw to it that they were never actually able to direct her life.

having always had an active imagination, it was no surprise it tended to get away from her from time to time. anna was notorious for telling wild, out of this world stories, sometimes even talking so passionately about them that she could actually make people believe in what she was saying. she loved to write down her ideas, and was an enthusiastic member of the school paper throughout high school, though she would often embellish stories and find herself in hot water.

naturally, her longterm dream was always to become a published author, something that delighted her parents, and in turn made anna resent the idea of garnering fame from her works. still, it was her passion. with her parents’ money, she could’ve very well gone without an actual job and simply focused on writing her stories, but she has too much energy for that. so, anna attended college for journalism, and now works for billboard magazine, where she writes columns and conducts interviews with musicians. she writes her own stories on the side, and is still hoping to someday be published, but definitely under a pseudonym. anna is very dramatic and theatrical in general, so of course she still loves to make a huge drama out of her own wild spin on generally tame events.
