The RLA has a strange tendency to vacuum up (formerly) independent mercenaries who now take almost exclusively jobs for the liberation movement or even go so far as to join it officially; sky-haired Navik is yet another testament to the cause’s apparent charisma. While a Raficon native themselves, they began the Ision War as an independent, seeking to curry favor with the corporation to eventually gain passage offworld and escape the harsh conditions on Raficon.
Over the course of the war, though, that outlook changed. Whether it was due to Middle Major’s call to action, the relatively ineffectual state of the RLA against the megacorps squabbling over Ision, or even the POE tightening its grip on formerly Raficonian-owned facilities, Ava found herself with the RLA time and time again more often than not. Ultimately, the prolonged Ision War made it clear that this was the state of things to come for the foreseeable future, and that the Ision was, in fact, not more purple on the other side: going offworld, Ava might simply find herself wrapped up in another conflict, especially since such extraplanetary greed was sure to persist among the stars.
Ava’s AC, VESCUTE, is a predominantly silver middleweight tetrapod with indigo and light purple accents, wielding armaments of mixed make. Their pilot outfit is a remarkably neon-accented fit of purples and magentas; a distinctly robust statement of individuality juxtaposed against the otherwise bleak state of Raficon.
