Let's go with "Future Yoms" then.
He's inherently suspicious of his future self for a multitude of reasons (that whole story just seems too damn good to be true), and the fact that he was so initially hush-hush about it only drove that suspicion further. He's appreciative of the fact that he was so willing to help in any way he could--aside from information about his own future--when he first ran into him. There was a lot of sympathy there, and why not? This guy literally knows exactly what he's going through.
While he at times finds his bumbling, nice future self a little irritating, it's still good to see that it's possible for him to hold on that personality in spite of everything. After all, Yomiel wasn't always so cold-hearted and detached and he can see a reflection of his past self in his future self, if that makes any sense. But this comes with it's own particular brand of bitterness as well.
He doesn't like being confronted with this past personality. Idiot, carefree, like terrible things aren't out there and like life isn't gonna turn around and bite your ass the moment it has the chance to. He knows that this future him is aware of this, but that happily married man can only remind him of himself from a time where he didn't worry about all the shit he's wading through these days.
It's irritating, but he doesn't hate him for it. And those bitter feelings toward how secretive he is effectively lessened once Future Yoms finally came out and explained everything to him.
It really is nice to see himself so happy with idealized future he envisioned from the beginning. He's just jealous and conflicted, this occasionally manifests in bitter treatment of his guy.
