Hey I vaguely remembered a Sunholt holiday called Bathtub Day and it has come to plague me not knowing what the hell it is. plz help a fool
OH YEAHHHHH
it’s a day one the previous king (adelaide’s grandfather) declared, mostly because he wanted a holiday, but the origin is that a thief tried to steal the royal bathtub (the bathtub in the king’s bathroom) and decided to ride it down the hill which leads up to the castle, like a sled. He crashed and was captured, but a lot of kids had fun dragging the bathtub back up the hill and riding it down. One of the kids fell in the giant hole that’s right in the middle of the upper square of Lyon, but they don’t like to talk about that.
So now it’s just a day where everyone takes some baths, rides a bathtub down a hill and does various other bath-related things.
In the theif’s defense, the royal bathtub is really nice.
