I had a sweet day with my chick Lauren yesterday, this trooper sat with me through a model day/practical final for 6 hours. (with a lunch break) first pic is after her partial foil with enlightener.. then we did an all-over coppery violet red to tone down her yellows and give her a fun tone through out. We were both super happy with the outcome.. I'm getting more and more excited to be on the floor more and out of the classroom; although there is still so, so much to learn.

Recently, after 5 years of working full-time in the restaurant industry, I decided to dive into something that has always peaked my interest. I was stuck and starting to feel anxious and depressed more and more, It was time for a big change. I'm going back to school for cosmetology. I started classes at the Aveda Institute in Denver at the end of March. It hasn't even been 4 months yet, but I know I've made a great decision for myself. Everyday that I walk into school, I'm surrounded by sweet, inspired people and I feel excited and anxious to learn. I can't wait to see where this unexpected chapter of my life leads me.
