Now that Avatar is on Netflix, it’s easy to get high-def screenshots of the show, but let’s take a moment to honor the original supplier of screenshots, which has been around since I was a kid (since 2006!):
I think the best thing about avatarspirit.net and korranews being gone is that I no longer have to find out about any new ATLA/LOK news coming out.
The information in the link came from Kyatto, who worked as an on site staff member:
What it came down to was M Night really was the only one who knew the show and what he was doing (the first draft of the screenplay? gorgeous. hence Bryke giving him the okay). The producers, who are actually in charge of at least 80% of production including casting.... not so much. They clearly never bothered to watch the show, nor had the ghostwriter who did the final screenplay.
While M. Night is not completely free from blame---after all, he's had a string of mediocre films over the last decade and he didn't admit that TLAB was an utter disaster---this just serves to remind us that it's not always the director who's at fault for a shitty movie. If anything, it's often the producers who go scott free.
Can we just take a minute of how much we appreciate Katara.
One of the reasons is that she saved Aang and his Avatar Spirit(Raava)

Another thing...
You all realized the significance of the spirit oasis right? The stuff that heals spirits too? The stuff Katara used to heal me in Aang's body? The stuff I think that woman just used to heal me again in Korra's body?
Sokka... what are you doing?

At this point in the episode, my sister said, "Not too good at bending without the refs letting you cheat, huh?" Which I thought was stupid because he could 'cheat' against Amon all he wanted.
But her point was good. What good was Tahno if he didn't play fair? Amon sure doesnt.
Thank you avatarspirit.net
